Friday, June 11 vs. Los Angeles Sparks
The Seattle Storm is proud to recognize the efforts of local non-profit organizations in the Puget Sound community. Each game night this summer, the Storm will shine the spotlight on a featured non-profit, its positive impact within our community and ways in which Storm fans can become involved.
Children's Trust Foundation
Children's Trust Foundation is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in Washington State by strengthening families and ensuring the healthy development of children. Children's Trust Foundation believes in the potential of all parents to be great parents. For the past 25 years, Children's Trust Foundation has worked diligently to provide private funding to Family Support Centers and child abuse and neglect prevention programs throughout Washington that work to create healthy, happy homes for parents and children. We seek to prevent child abuse and neglect in three ways:
- Grantmaking to programs that strengthen families and seek to prevent child abuse and neglect
- Advocacy for public policies that support children and strengthen families
- Public education about the ideal conditions for raising healthy children and strong families
