Shock Look To Rebound Against Minnesota

The Tulsa Shock are looking to end a three-game losing skid as they take on the Minnesota Lynx twice this weekend. The team will travel to Minneapolis on Friday before a quick turnaround to host the Lynx on Saturday at the BOK Center.

The Lynx are 2-9 on the season and looking to end a four-game losing streak this weekend. They are 1-2 against the Shock this season including a loss at home on May 23.

Tulsa picked up their newest member this week, trading veteran Plenette Pierson for New York’s Tiffany Jackson. Jackson is in her fourth season in the league and is averaging 4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds for the Liberty in about 14 minutes a game off the bench. A 2007 first round pick (fifth overall) out of the University of Texas, Jackson has appeared in 102 games for the Liberty over the past four years, accumulating a career average of 5.9 points and 3.8 rebounds on 45.6 percent shooting in 15.6 minutes a game.
