A: No, we will not provide lunch but will take a short break to allow campers to eat a small lunch/snack.

Q: Do you provide transportation?
A: No, parents are required to bring their child to camp, check them in and also check them out each day.

Q: Do the camps sellout?
A: The 2010 will be the first summer of the Mystics camp program. However, we anticipate selling out the majority of the camps and encourage parents to register their child as soon as possible.

Q: What kind of supervision do campers receive?
A: Parents are required to sign-in and sign-out their child each camp day. Campers are always under the supervision of the on-site director or their own coach throughout the day.

Q: Who are the coaches?
A: The coaches are from throughout the Greater Washington area with different levels of experience – professional, college, high school, and middle school.

Q: What is the involvement of the Mystics players and coaching staff?
A: Current members of the Mystics roster and coaching staff will make at least one appearance at each camp. The duration of the visit(s) is dependent on the team's game and practice schedule and will vary camp-by-camp.

Q: What does my child need to bring to camp?
A: Each camper should be dressed appropriately to participate in basketball activities – ie sneakers, shorts, and t-shirt. We will provide water, but ask that each camper bring his/her own water bottle. We also recommend that all campers bring a small snack/lunch, and a book bag or duffle bag that can hold all of their personal belongings.

Q: Why is the registration different depending on the camp location?
A: The Mystics summer camps will be scheduled throughout the Greater Washington area. The team has partnered with a variety of organizations including recreation departments, public and private schools, and stand-alone facilities. Some of the registrations will be handled by the individual host facility while the Mystics will handle the registration for others.

Q: Can I cancel my registration?
A: You will not receive a refund if you cancel your registration as all sales are final. Campers who are forced to cancel or leave camp due to an illness or injury must provide a written request with a doctor's note in order to receive a prorated refund based on the number of days spend at camp. There are no refunds if your child voluntarily leaves camp.

Q: May I change my session?
A: If notified in advance, we will do our best to accommodate your request to change your session. However, we can not guarantee that there will be an opening at your location of choice. Please contact the Mystics Camp office by phone or email with your request. We will not honor any requests if the camp for the initial registration has already occurred.
