Minnesota Lynx Release Guard April McDivitt

Minneapolis/St. Paul - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has released April McDivitt. The 5-7 guard was signed by the Lynx as a free agent on April 1. She appeared in two preseason games, tallying nine points and four assists in 13 minutes of action. In 135 career collegiate games (UC-Santa Barbara and Tennessee), McDivitt averaged 5.7 ppg, 2.1 rpg and 2.5 apg.
The Lynx conclude their 2005 preseason schedule on Saturday, May 14 against the Connecticut Sun at Williams Arena (7 p.m.) on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Tickets are available by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX or by logging onto www.lynxbasketball.com. The team opens the regular season on May 22 in Houston against the Comets. The Home Opener for the Lynx is on May 25 against Los Angeles (7 p.m.).
